The Pigs of Proud Spirit!

With friends visiting, we set out in the truck for the town. Less than two hundred yards from home, I saw two small animals moving alongside the edge of the road and immediately realized they were tiny piglets. I got out of the truck to approach them but they ran up the embankment and down into the woods and briars on the other side. While others watched where they had gone, I drove home quickly to get blankets and the cat carrier/crate.

We named the larger one, who has black ears and larger black spots, Mimi. The smaller one is Nina. The names just seemed to fit.
